The ward activity for March was Powder Puff football. It was a lot of fun. We had a practice the week before and about 15 from my team showed up and only four from the other team showed up so the whole week we were worried that the other team wouldn’t have enough players and it wouldn’t be fun.
Because we were going to crush them of course.
We didn’t.
Well, we did the first half. It was 14-0 during the first half. The other team wasn’t even close to scoring with two interceptions from our defense.
We loved feeling legit with our huddles.
I even scored a touchdown and an extra point!
Bishop loved his role as referee.
Second half however, we switched our offense and defense, and then everything fell apart due to this girl, Kelly, who I’m pretty sure scored every single one of their touchdowns in the second half.
I wasn’t very good at defense. This is me arguing with Bishop after I got called for tackling.
This was my favorite picture sequence. Watch what happens when Lizzie tries to take down our quarterback Jaclyn.
Haha!
Look! Even Jamie got in the action!
And Matt was also vitally important with his stopwatch at the end of the game.

The Fighting Irish lost, but we fought hard and only a few of us were sore losers.
Thanks to Trevan in the ward for these pictures. Aren’t they fun?
Especially THIS! Did you notice this creepy part of my picture above??
I love this ward. I just signed on to another year here, making 7 straight years of Catrons in this ward. Bring it.
